| : Both youth and adults who participate in Liturgy
by assisting the priest.
: A regularly scheduled
time of quiet prayer or contemplation before the Blessed Sacrament
in the church. Every Tuesday and every First Friday evening
through First Saturday
morning. Parishioners are scheduled to be in attendance
for one hour.
: Parishioners who meet throughout
the year planning educational and seasonal events for adults
of the parish.
: A national charitable
and spiritual organization for Catholic women over the age
of 18 years. Founded in 1903, members have flourished under
a motto
of ‘Unity and Charity’. Their dedication to Church
and country has evolved through the years to encompass local,
state, national and global concerns.
: Adult Choir is a group of parishioners who participate
in Liturgy with their gifts of voice. This group gathers
weekly for rehearsals. Folk Choir is an ensemble of contemporary
musical
instruments and voice who participate in Liturgy with their
gifts and voice. This group gathers at member’s homes
for rehearsal.

: Catholics In Action is an active group
of high school and junior high -aged parishioners who gather
for social, spiritual, fund raising, and service related activities.
: Parishioners who arrange
to serve coffee and sweets after the 8:00 & 9:30am weekend
masses. Baked goods are always welcome. Proceeds help to
sponsor a child
through the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging.
: Parishioners who plan events for fun and fellowship
for the parish. Past events include: Easter Egg Hunt, Parish
Picnic, Potluck dinners, and trips to the Akron Aeros Games.
: Parishioners who provide support to families by preparing
and serving a meal in the Parish Hall for mourners following the funeral.
: Discussion group that meets monthly to provide information on the
faith of the Church to persons interested in learning more about Catholicism. |

| : A men’s group
which promotes spiritual growth and fosters a spirit of brotherhood
of its members
through prayer, fellowship, fund raising, and service activities.
: Parishioners who are trained to participate in the
Liturgy by reading the Word of God.
: A girl’s club modeled after St. Therese,
the Little Flower, teaching girls a new virtue at each meeting.
The goal is to weave our rich Catholic faith and history into
the girl’s lives Meet monthly in parish homes or in
the Parish Hall.
: Parishioners (men and women) who gather after daily
mass to clean the church and Parish Hall in preparation for
the coming weekend masses.
: Moms in the parish who get
together in one another’s homes – or outside
the homes - each month during the school year for the purpose
of
informative and social discussions.

| : Elected members on various commissions
to foster communication and assist the Pastor in carrying out
the Mission of the Church at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception
Parish.
: A group of individuals who through prayer
remember others during difficult or special moments in
people’s
lives. Members of this group pray at home in their own time.
: Instructional classes for parents of
infants seeking Baptism.
: Works with the pastoral team in overseeing
the upkeep and repair of the parish buildings and grounds.
: Catholic Religion classes for
students in grades pre-K through 6, including sacramental preparation.

| : A group that gathers to discuss issues and
promote awareness of the sanctity of life from conception to
natural death.
: Meet every Thursday in the church to
pray the rosary. Children are encouraged to participate.
Following
the rosary they socialize in the Parish Hall. Whether or
not you have children – you are encouraged to attend.
: A group for men aged
18 and over that gathers on a monthly basis for prayer
and to support the spiritual growth of its participants.
: Provides a warm,
relaxed atmosphere that cares for children with love, discipline
and
many free and constructive activities.
: Provides a Catholic education
to students in grades 1 through 8. Enrollment is open to
non-parishioners.
: Members help to raise funds
for mission projects in Mississippi, Indian schools, medical
missions as well as missions locally. They meet once a month
at a members home.

| : Parents who meet once a week
in the Parish Hall – or in at an area park during the summer – allowing
their children time to play with other children, and giving themselves
time to socialize with other parents.
: An organization
run by the school parents in conjunction with the teachers
and administrators. The purpose of the SSO is to raise
money for the school and promote fellowship among school families.
: The women’s softball
team has been a member of the Wayne County Women’s
Softball League since 1997. The team is open to all women
of the parish,
14 years of age or older. Practices are held beginning mid-May,
with the season running from late May to mid-August.

Boy Scouts open to all boys ages 11-18. Girl Scouts open to
all girls
ages 5-17. Program focus is on the development of self-potential,
how to relate to others, developing values, and contributing
to society. Cub Scouts open to boys 7-11.

| : Parishioners 55 years and over who gather
for Liturgy and brunch social to renew friendships and cultivate
parish and community involvement.
: Parishioners who meet on a monthly basis to
discuss social issues in light of Church teachings. This commission
helps the parish community become more aware of current social
concerns.
: Held each summer at a designated church
in the Wooster area. Parishioner volunteers participate in
the week long event by helping to organize, advertise, and
accompany the participants.
: A Catholic home
schooling group providing a quality education incorporating
the Catholic faith into daily life while offering support and
friendship to other home schooling families. Moms meet the
second Tuesday of each month in the Parish Hall. They participate
in field trips, hiking, family days and Feast Day celebrations
regularly.
: Parishioners who gather on a monthly basis
to prepare upcoming Liturgical Seasons, assist with arranging
the environment within the church, and provide suggestions
to enhance our worship together.
