Reconciliation and First Communion - “ Holy
Family Process”
Holy Family is the sacramental preparation process for
parish families with children preparing to receive the sacraments
of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. The first session
is the parent/guardian. Together, we will explore the sacraments
and gain a greater understanding of how the reception of
these gifts enrich and nourish us in our daily lives. We
are required by the Diocese of Cleveland to provide this
faith formation process.
Children will be instructed by their teachers in the PSR
Process and the Saint Mary Day School. Children who were
unable to receive the sacraments in Second Grade will be
meeting with Mrs. Yoders during PSR for their instruction.
We will provide the proper catechesis required for your children
to be fully prepared to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation
and First Communion.
Registration for Reconciliation, First Communion and Family
Faith Formation opportunities will be in September.
The Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated in our parish
on a yearly basis. Parishioners in Grade 9 and above – including
interested adults may register for the Confirmation Process
during mid November and throughout the month of December.
Check the bulletin for additional information.
