Want to Help? Volunteers are Needed for Mass

Hello everyone,

I'm sure many of you are eagerly anticipating being able to attend Mass once again and receive the Eucharist. However, as has been stated in various posts, this will look rather different than how we have normally worshipped in the past. As such, we will need various people to assist us in various roles. We have three roles to fill:

Hospitality Minister: Different from ushers, these people will meet parishioners at the door when they arrive at Mass and take them to seats by party, ensuring social distancing. These people would arrive about half an hour prior to Mass.

Sanitization Crew: After every Mass, we will need designated individuals to disinfect the church.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: Normally, we have sign ups for this. We are asking that folks let us know beforehand what Mass they will be attending, as not all ministers will be returning right away. Also, we do have new procedures that we will want to make sure ministers know about.

Instructions will be given to those who volunteer, so they understand what they are doing.

If you are returning to Mass on Pentecost Sunday, and you would be willing to assist, please contact me with the role you'd like to take on and the Mass you plan to attend (5 pm Vigil, 8 am or 10 am). You can contact me by Facebook private message through this page, email, or phone. If you don't email, please indicate your email address, as this will be my mode of communication with you. Thank you for your willingness to serve!
