Parish Council

My name is Jackie Dossi. I look forward to serving on St. Mary’s  Parish Council. I moved to Wooster in 2006 with my husband Darren, and my 

children Addy, Drew and Jack. 

I was born and raised in 

Canton, Ohio and previously attended St. Louis Parish in Louisville, Ohio 

having completed RCIA. I practice law in Ohio as a partner with Johnson, Helmuth, Miller & Dossi in Orrville, Ohio. 

My faith and the St. Mary Parish are 

incredibly important to me, and I pray my service and commitment will benefit the life and mission of St. Mary.

My name is Jamie Jackson, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve on the St. Mary’s Parish Council.

I was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio by Rick and Mary Ann Jackson.  With a long history of St. Mary Parishioner family members - generations before me, I was Baptized on August 30th, 1975.  I have been blessed to receive all my sacraments to date at our beautiful St. Mary. As a child I attended St. Mary’s Elementary School and later graduated from Wooster High School.

While attending the University of Akron, I found my passion in business management in the food service industry. While leading people in restaurants has been my career, for the 

last decade  I have worked for a Wendy’s franchise as the Director of Area Operations. I currently have 36 restaurants across Ohio, Fort Wayne Indiana, South Bend Indiana, and Southwest Michigan. I have the honor of leading over 1,000 people daily within our organization.

I am married to my beautiful wife Stephanie. We have three grown children together, Holden, James, and Grace. My faith is extremely important to me, and I am beyond blessed for all that God has done for me and my family. I am very thankful to serve on the Parish Council, and I pray that I can make 

positive contributions to St. Mary’s Church.

My name is Dan Lorentz, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve on the St. Mary’s Parish Council.  I am originally from Minnesota, where I, along with my parents and my eleven siblings, belonged to another St. Mary’s Parish. After graduation from the University of Minnesota, I had the privilege of serving in the US Navy for four years, primarily in the Washington, DC area.  I met my wife, Dolores, there, and we have had a whirlwind adventure, living in Maryland, Michigan, Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, and finally 14 years ago we relocated to Wooster. I have held leadership positions in manufacturing and operations, with companies like Ford Motor, Donaldson, TE Connectivity, Toro, Kinetico and most recently (and currently) Akron Brass in Wooster.  Working with diverse groups of people to complete meaningful accomplishments has been challenging and rewarding. Dolores and I have been 

married for 32 years, and have been blessed with three wonderful children, Catherine, Benjamin, and Matthew.  Learning to live my faith and pass it on to my family is very important to me.  I have enjoyed participating in That Man is You (TMIY) since 2019.  It is a transformational program that I would highly encourage all men of the parish to consider.

Hello, my name is Jennifer Monastra, and I am honored and excited to

serve on the parish council. I have been a member of St. Mary Parish

since 2011, and it has been an important part of my faith and family

life.

I was born and raised in Wooster, where I continue to live. I have four

children—Madison, Joseph, Gabriella, and Nathan. My family and I are

grateful to be part of such a welcoming parish community.

Professionally, I have worked at Westfield Insurance for 35 years, and I

look forward to bringing my experience and commitment to service to the

parish council. I am eager to work alongside fellow members to support

and strengthen our parish.

I am prayerful that my ideas and talents can be used to add value to the

council and help continue to strengthen our parish community.

My name is Cordell Neuenschwander. I have been married to my wife, Lydia, for eight years, and together we have a son, Phillip. We are also expecting our second child this November.

We live in Dalton, where we have operated a dairy farm for the past ten years.

Both my wife and I were raised and baptized in an evangelical Protestant church. In seeking to follow Christ and His will for our lives, we were eventually led to the Catholic Church.

We began attending Sunday Mass at St. Mary's in 2022. In 2023, we joined the RCIA program and were received into full communion with the Church at the Easter Vigil in 2024.

Since then, we have discovered what a wonderful parish family we have at St. Mary's. I look forward to serving our parish in this position as a council member.

Hello, I'm Peter O'Donnell and pleased to be considered for the St. Mary Parish Council.  

My wife, Carolyn, and I moved to Wooster over six years ago.  I am the chief financial officer for Buehler's Fresh Foods from the time they became employee owned.  We greatly enjoy being part of the parish.  Carolyn and I have participated in many of the missions, adult faith formation events, and we were the co-chairpersons for the successful "Heart of the Shepard" campaign.

We are originally from St. Louis, but have lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. We have been married 40 years and have three married daughters.  Two of whom went to Ohio State and met their spouses there.  Go Bucks!  We have four grandchildren and one due in May.

I am on the board for People to People.  Since 2019 I have participated in That Man Is You ("TIMIY") and it was a faith-changing experience that I encourage men of any age to attend.  I am an officer in our Knights of Columbus.  I made new friends through the Knights and we raise money for the Pregnancy Care Center and St. Vincent de Paul.

I look forward to serving the parish as a member of the council. 

My name is Matt Stoll.   I am humbled to be asked to serve on Parish council.  I look forward to serving my brothers and sisters in Christ through prayer and discernment.  My wife Elizabeth and I are granted stewardship by God of a multi generational family farm in Marshallville where we raise hay, corn, wheat, cattle and most importantly three beautiful adult children.  I worked in the heavy equipment and agricultural equipment industries in sales for almost two decades before leaving corporate employment for a “simpler” life on the farm.  My wife, Elizabeth, is a teacher at Orrville Middle School.  She is a gift from God and my true companion in life. We were married in the parish school in the summer of 2000 as the church was under renovation.  I was baptized into the faith at St Mary’s as a young child and this has been my home ever since.  If you see me and we are not acquainted, please stop and say hello.  I look forward to getting to know more of my fellow parishioners through this calling.

My name is Michael Viator. 

I am 29 years old and in May of 2025 I will be married! I worked for St. Mary a few years ago. I felt a call back to service of the people of the parish. I am an avid gardener and homesteader and I love civil war reenactment! I am proud to be serving this parish yet again! Please pray for me!  

My name is Meg Wrobel.

I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to serve on the St. Mary Parish Pastoral Council. My husband, Andrew, and I moved to Wooster from Idaho in 2022. We have two children: Augustus (Gus), who will begin kindergarten at St. Mary School this fall, and Joann (Jojo), who will be in preschool. We are grateful to be part of the St. Mary community and look forward to becoming even more involved in parish and school life.

I am originally from Tiffin, Ohio. I earned both my bachelor’s degree and Master of Public Administration from the University of Dayton and my Ph.D. from North Carolina State University. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Political Science at The College of Wooster, where I teach courses in American politics, public policy, and public administration.

I am especially excited to serve on the Pastoral Council as our family begins this new chapter at St. Mary. I look forward to listening to and learning from fellow parishioners, supporting the work of our parish, and helping St. Mary continue to be a welcoming and faith-filled community for individuals and families. Please pray for me with this new endeavor to serve.
